It’s good news for Chew Valley and Paulton residents as the first WESTlocal buses are driving into their area and will start serving locals next week (next Monday 8 April 2024). Mayor Dan Norris is urging residents to “get on board” to make the new services a success ahead of Monday’s launch of the “WESTlocal: X91 Chew Valley Sprint” and “WESTlocal: 2V Two Valleys”.
You can park your car and ride a bus in comfort to your destination. Parking is free, all you pay for is the bus ticket, and each site provides hundreds of car parking spaces. Services can operate as frequently as every 12 minutes.
metrobus adopts ‘buy before you board‘ ticketing and limited stopping at key destinations for faster boarding and shorter journey times.
Distinctive metrobus stops feature iPoints, which allow passengers to buy tickets, plan journeys and view live running information for onward services.
